2020 – Argyll Arts Collective – 3rd to 31st October 2020 – ‘Cormonachan Woodlands Art Trail’ – 1,125 people attended.
2021 – Argyll Arts Collective – 2nd October to 7th November 2021 – ‘The Woodlands Art Trail – 2021’ – 1,415 people attended.
2022 – Argyll Arts Collective – 2nd to 30th October 2022 – ‘The Woodlands Art Trail – 2022’ – 1,149 people attended.
2023 – Argyll Arts Collective are unable to organise an event this year.

Live theatrical events in the woodlands
Previous one – Walking Theatre Company – Sunday 15th April 2018, one for children at 2 pm ‘The Celtic Tree Walk’ and another at 6.30 pm for adults – William Shakespeare production of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’.
Last one – Walking Theatre Company – on 3th June 2022 for Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with another William Shakespeare production and another special performance for the children. We obtained funding for this event from Argyll & Bute Council’s Supporting Communities Fund so attendance was FREE… The children’s performance was at 2 pm – “The Wonderland Adventure” and the adults performance was at 7 pm – “Macbeth the Red” – Free transport was provided from the Lochgoilhead car park. These performances were organised in conjunction with Argyll Arts Collective and were very well attended with 71 attendees enjoying the events.

6th June 2018 – Memorial Event For Liz Evans with the opening of the Contemplation Shelter.
7th November 2021 – Planting of an Oak tree by the indigenous Amazonians and a blessing of the Rainforest by them.

Invited Event on 30th June 2023 was the Official Opening of the Upper Cormonachan Heritage Paths to an invited group of funding and supporting organisations and people at the new South Car Park. The Upper Cormonachan Heritage Paths were opened by Andy Rockall, Director of Scotland’s Community Woodlands Association.
The Opening to the Public on Saturday 1st July 2023 of the Upper Cormonachan Heritage Paths was at the South Car Park to Cormonachan Falls, the Medieval Settlement and the new paths to the Contemplation Shelter and the North Car Park or vice versa. (Due to extraordinary heavy rainfall, the bottom path and south car park were damaged and are temporarily closed). Please use the north car park in the meantime, where you can still access the Cormonachan Falls & Medieval Settlement and Forest Road along the new 2 km path.
Special events, such as Guided walks, Bat walks, Easter Egg walks & Halloween walks. Apply to the Secretary for further details – Secretary@cormonachan-woodlands.co.uk.
A) A guided walk around the woodlands 2.5 km circular paths for the Raleigh International Volunteers who, 14 of them, then volunteered with maintenance of the Cormonachan Community Woodlands for a whole week (540 hours).
B) On 17th March 2022, Students from Hermitage Academy in Helensburgh and Lochgilphead High School had a guided walk led by Dee Locke, our Secretary, around the 2.5 km circular paths in Cormonachan Community Woodlands which included them filming the trees and nature within these ancient woodlands in conjunction with Cove Park, Cove by Helensburgh.

C) On 17th August 2022 –“The Ghost Rainforest” – A short 10 min film, mentioned above, about the Amazonians visit to Cormonachan Community Woodlands during COP26.

E) On 9th April 2023, there was the Children’s Easter Holiday Squirrel Trail Free Event from 12 noon to 3 pm at which 40 children attended. Some received free face painting.
